Retired history professor Doug Garnar will address what it means to be a Christian and a citizen at the Sunday morning worship July 26th at 9:30 AM. Garnar taught at Broome Community College over 40 years, and has a passion for the role persons of faith have played in confronting the wrongs in their society.
Thursday afternoon July 16th, beginning at 4:30 PM, CCC will offer story-telling, book reading & activities for families, ending with a hot dog supper at 5:30 PM. Children attending will receive free books to take home! For pre-school through elementary age children & their families.
Stay after worship ends on Sunday July 12th for a Breakfast Brunch of ice cream & waffles – summer fun! (Don’t forget summer worship starts at 9:30 AM)
